About the Journal
The Pensiero journal is dedicated to enriching and supporting the Italian Studies program at York University by showcasing work that explores Italian language, linguistics, culture, history, arts, literature, and related interdisciplinary fields.
Pensiero, meaning “thought”, reflects the core purpose of this journal: to embody the act of thinking. Each piece within the journal arises from considered reflection and inquiry, offering readers not only knowledge, but an invitation to think and encounter new perspectives of seeing. By gathering voices that explore Italian culture, Pensiero aims to create an intellectual space where thoughts can develop and intersect.
